Abstract

In this paper, the process of manufacture and production of architectural terra cotta will be discussed. The author has spent the past summer of 1924 in the plant of the Corning Terra Cotta Company located in Corning, New York. Here he had an opportunity to observe the various processes of manufacture and help to perform some of them.
