These became especially interesting to me after I took a glaze class a few years ago. I decided to take the glaze class because I absolutely hated glazes, but started enjoying ceramics. I didn’t like how with glazes, unlike a painting, I couldn’t see exactly how they were going to look after being fired. I figured I would learn a little more about them so it wasn't a dreaded part of working with clay.
