Bockus is writing Binns to ask which furnace they have at Alfred. Eimer & Amend are wanting to sell her a Seger's Furnace found on their catalogue page 196. She is extremely anxious to have this furnace right as she has had trouble with the Calkins Kiln and the electronic wheel which take too much time to replace. Bockus is writing from the Mechanics Institute of Rochester, now known as Rochester Institute of Technology.
