My artwork is an exploration of material and visual language in order to discover the most effective way for me to communicate through art. Influenced by ceramics, glassblowing, printmaking, and photography, I have extended the surface of my paintings by layering material. Exhibiting my work several times throughout my senior year has allowed me to develop my process and communication skills, culminating in my BFA thesis exhibition, Stills.en_US
