This project consists of two main areas: art history and art therapy. I found that the work by three artists and how they dealt with their troubles through their artwork resonated with my own experiences. The accounts of Frida Kahlo, Lalla Essaydi and Ana Mendieta fell in line with much of what this Honors Thesis deals with in terms of art therapy.en_US
