My work is an exploration of psychological phenomenon utilizing bodily and technological imagery. I am interested in exploring our sense of embodied self and internal psychological experiences regarding selfhood, consciousness, and the affective dimension of our external world. This exploration pulls from disciplines such as psychology, philosophy, and metaphysics. The works discussed are a combination of digital media, performance, and installation. The work functions to create a sense of embodied engagement though material choice and multivalent narrative. I present the viewer with work that is rooted in our shared reality yet requires them to be engaged in the act of viewing. In creating these works the viewer is brought into physical dialog with the ideas presented in the work.en_US
